Experienced Customer Service Representative – Lot Attendant

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting customers inside and outside a arenaflex center with U-Haul products and services
• Using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Moving and hooking up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels
• Answering questions and educating customers regarding products and services
• Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental
• Installing hitches and trailer wiring
• Filling propane (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment)
• Driving a forklift (certification offered through arenaflex upon employment)
• Participating in ongoing continuous arenaflex education through arenaflex University
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide top-notch customer service
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
