Electrical Apprentice

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team in the commercial industry. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems in commercial buildings. ? Help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and equipment. ? Follow blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate and safe installations. ? Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in an organized and safe manner. ? Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and others on the job site. ? Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills. ? Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. ? Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician or project manager. ? Driving is an essential job function to this position EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship program. ? Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures. ? Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. ? Good communication and interpersonal skills. ? Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces. ? Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ? Lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment, up to 50 pounds. ? Climbing ladders and working at various heights. ? Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods. ? Standing and walking for long durations. ? Using hand and power tools with precision and safety. ?
