Trivedi Tax & Advisory LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Preparer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. Candidates must hold an AFSP Certification, be an Enrolled Agent (EA), or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to be considered for this position. This position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Responsibilities • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. • Review financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Provide guidance on tax-related inquiries and assist clients in understanding their tax obligations. • Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed advice. • Maintain organized records of all client interactions and documentation. • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction. • Assist in identifying potential deductions, credits, and strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Skills • Must hold an AFSP Certification, EA, or CPA designation. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Intuit ProConnect, and TaxDome as a CRM, for efficient tax preparation. • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. • Solid math skills for accurate calculations and data analysis. • Experience in public accounting or tax preparation is preferred but not required. • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles can be beneficial in client interactions. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple clients’ needs.
