This is a 100% remote, part-time opportunity designed for individuals who excel in empathetic customer outreach, fraud-related dispute resolution, and late-night problem-solving.

This position is licensed exclusively for residents of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Our overnight lost/stolen card team plays a critical role in protecting banking customers from fraudulent activity and providing reassurance during some of the most stressful moments of their financial lives. When a customer suspects unauthorized charges on their debit card, our representatives step in to file disputes, secure the account, and guide the caller toward peace of mind.

This isn’t your typical 9-to-5 customer service job. Our overnight team members work exclusively during evening and overnight hours, every weekend, and on holidays. Key Responsibilities

  • Dispute Filing & Account Protection: Process lost and stolen card reports by filing fraud disputes on behalf of banking customers, shutting down compromised debit cards, and initiating protective measures to prevent further unauthorized activity.
  • Empathetic Customer Communication: Maintain a calm, professional, and empathetic tone throughout every interaction. Recognize that potential account fraud is frightening for customers, and respond with patience, reassurance, and clarity.
  • Customer Outreach & Inquiry Resolution: Handle inbound calls from customers reporting suspicious or unauthorized transactions, gather relevant account information, and document each interaction accurately within internal systems.
  • Problem Solving & Issue Escalation: Identify complex or high-risk situations that require escalation to specialized fraud or compliance teams, while ensuring the customer feels supported throughout the process.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Follow all banking regulations, internal protocols, and compliance guidelines when handling sensitive customer information and filing disputes.
  • Night, Weekend, and Holiday Availability: Commit to a consistent overnight schedule that includes every weekend and all major holidays. This role does not follow traditional business hours.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in paid training sessions, stay up to date on evolving fraud trends, banking products, and customer service best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. An Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience required, with at least 1 year preferred in a remote or call center environment. Experience in collections, telemarketing, phone-based sales, or any customer outreach role is highly valued.
  • Technical Experience: At least 3 years of experience using a PC or laptop for daily work tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy, professionalism, and accuracy during every customer interaction.
  • Internet Requirements: A wired high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps is required. Wi-Fi connections are not permitted. arenaflex will provide all necessary work equipment.
  • Smartphone Requirement: Access to an Android device running OS 8.0 or higher, or an iPhone running iOS 13 or higher.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to think critically, resolve issues efficiently, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Background Check: Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working remotely in a customer service or call center capacity.
  • Exposure to banking, financial services, or fraud-related customer support.
  • Comfort navigating multiple software platforms, CRM systems, and internal databases simultaneously.
  • Strong typing speed and data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to schedule changes, new procedures, and evolving customer needs.

Training and Schedule Details

Training for this position is scheduled to begin on March 15th, 2024, and will be conducted entirely remotely. During training, you’ll learn arenaflex’s customer service protocols, banking dispute procedures, compliance requirements, and the technology systems used to support our banking partner.

Upon successful completion of training, you will transition to a regular part-time overnight schedule. Specific shift assignments will be determined and communicated after training. Please note that this role requires 100% nights, 100% weekends, and 100% holiday availability. Traditional weekday shifts are not available.
