Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk/Data Entry IV, you will play a critical role in analyzing and routing legal documents for our Case Management team. You will work with minimal supervision to review legal demands, code them for proper routing, and ensure that sensitive information is handled with the utmost care. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week after completing training and demonstrating meeting performance requirements with quality and production.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze documents submitted by law enforcement, private attorneys, and pro se litigants, including court orders, search warrants, subpoenas, and preservation letters

  • Apply standard practices and policies in naming documents for proper handling
  • Code documents for proper routing within Legal and Emergency Response
  • Review and verify the accuracy of documents, including checking for completeness and consistency
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure that sensitive information is handled with the utmost care
  • Collaborate with the Case Management team to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management

Requirements

* At least 7 years of relevant experience in data entry or a related field

  • Computer literacy, including typing and 10-key excellence
  • Verified ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute and 5,000 keystrokes
  • Screenshot or download of completed 10-key and regular typing test
  • Proof of US citizenship, in the form of a US birth certificate or US passport
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Formal training or experience in reading legal demands

  • Experience working with Case Management or a related field
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
