Logos Campaign Director

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Logos is a movement supporting the development of the decentralised web. Logos technologies lay the foundations for a freer internet upon which communities can evolve into network states. Each protocol in the Logos stack seeks to empower its users while upholding civil liberties and fundamental freedoms.

About the role

Logos is an ambitious, volunteer-driven project that aims to rebuild civil society in the West through culture and technology. First and foremost, it’s a cultural movement. It’s supported by a privacy-preserving and politically neutral technology stack that allows web3 developers to build new types of social, economic and governmental institutions and virtual territories (or ‘Network States’).

You will be responsible for spreading our messaging by developing and executing effective strategies. You will communicate our mission, values, and vision to a broad audience and help grow our community by inspiring participation and fostering meaningful discussions.

Your efforts will be instrumental in helping reach people in the real world who need access to trust-minimised, corruption-resistant public services that uphold civil liberties.

Responsibilities

  • Help audiences understand our aims, and provide paths to participate in our organization
  • Foster volunteer-driven contributions that build our movement whilst encouraging autonomy
  • Involve yourself in the campaign planning process, including budgets, resourcing and prioritization
  • Alongside a project manager and brand manager, help lead a communication team that executes upon campaigns
  • Design processes and bring about the necessary structure and information for local Logos communities/cells to thrive
  • Increase donations to the organization
  • Ensure Logos’ humanitarian aims are clearly communicated
  • Track and measure the impact of campaigns

Requirements:

  • Background in building community organisations, political campaigns, or working for humanitarian causes
  • Minimum of 5 years managing a team, budgets, and goals
  • Passion for, and in-depth understanding of, web3
  • A strong alignment with our principles
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn, read, lead, and act.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand written content
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships across the entire organisation

Bonus points:

  • Experience working for an open source organization
  • Background in Computer Science / Software Engineering
  • Background in Political Science
  • A passion for Network States / Parallel Societies

[Don’t worry if you don’t meet all of these criteria, we’d still love to hear from you anyway if you think you’d be a great fit for this role. Just explain to us why in your cover letter].
