Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Electrical Engineer (3618).

Location Notice: This is a remote position.

Duration: Work is estimated to last 3 to 6 months but may go longer. .

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical distribution and control systems for auxiliary support: IC power systems, emergency power backup (battery, diesel), lighting, communications.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics and load analysis.
• Ensure robust grounding, redundancy, and compliance with nuclear-grade electrical standards.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical disciplines for integration.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years designing electrical systems for nuclear or critical infrastructure.
• Experience with power distribution, UPS, emergency power, and IC systems.
• Knowledge of IEEE, NEC, and nuclear-grade electrical design standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer
