  • This job is a member of the Flight Training & Standards team within the Integrated Operations Division.
  • This position will be responsible for providing clerical support for the Flight Training & Standards Management Staff.

What you'll do

  • Interacts professionally in a service-culture environment while assisting with training administrative and personnel matters
  • Answers phones, general questions and assists with walk-in traffic
  • Assist Fleet Training Managers with new Check Airman onboard tasking
  • Track/manage/schedule new Check Airman training qualifications
  • Schedule daily administrative tasks for departmental personnel
  • Assist Fleet Training Managers with special projects
  • Prepare Performance Review documentation for pilot trainees
  • Track Check Airman sick, vacation, per dieum expenses
  • Maintain working knowledge so as to provide support using Excell, Sharepoint, Word, Adobe, Acrobat, Powerpoint

All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Prior employment as Admin within Flight, Flight Operations, Flight Training or Safety

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Minimum typing skill of 25 W.P.M.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
  • Successful candidate must be comfortable and adaptable to changes, in a health and safety COVID world. Candidate will be working in an environment where wearing a mask may be mandatory. Guidelines must be followed for social distancing, sanitization, health screenings, and personal protection equipment (PPE).
