We are seeking compassionate and experienced After School Program (ASP) Tutors to join our team at Fairbanks North Star Borough School District. As an ASP Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing academic assistance and support to students in a remote setting. - Provide academic assistance to students through tutoring and mentoring
- Assist with daily attendance, program setup, and preparation of materials
- Help students enter and exit the program, and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with program staff to achieve program goals and objectives
- Adhere to program site rules and regulations regarding safety, cell phone use, and student interaction
- Complete necessary training and paperwork as required
Requirements:
- Basic reading and math skills
- Understanding of learning disabilities and ability to communicate effectively with children
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a remote setting and maintain a flexible schedule
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate: $10.34 - $39.80 per hour
