Job Title: Remote Middle Tier & Database Administrator - Oracle Saas Operations Engineering US Government

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Middle Tier & Database Administrator to join our Oracle Saas Operations Engineering US Government team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic technical support and solutions to US Government agencies and contractors that subscribe to Saas Cloud Services on our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading-edge database/applications company.
  • Manage the load configurations of a central data communication processor and make recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks.
  • Coordinate terminal orders and cable installation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing.
  • Approve action requests and specify purchase requisitions, negotiating and placing orders with common carriers.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to others, working as a leading contributor individually and as a team member.

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience of 3+ years.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Weblogic Application Server Installation and Administration, Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation and Administration, Oracle RDBMS Installation and Administration, Software Development, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, including commands and shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C, C++, etc.).
  • Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills in middleware and/or database areas.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and with members of a global team without close supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Fusion Application Installation and Administration experience.
  • SOA Suite administration (BPEL & WSM).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Internet Directory (OID) & IDM administration.
