Part-Time Front-End Web Developer (Remote)

Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Part-Time Front-End Web Developer to join our team at Workwarp on a contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for updating and adding new features to our JavaScript codebase, which powers interactive help guides for existing websites. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that typically requires only a few hours per week, offering a unique chance to work on a project with direct, visible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features and updates to our existing JavaScript codebase, utilized to create interactive help guides for websites.
• Maintain compact, lightweight code with no external libraries, working directly with vanilla JavaScript, DOM, and CSS.
• Build and debug responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile browsers, ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Test and troubleshoot code on both desktop and mobile browsers to ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with JavaScript (without frameworks or libraries), including DOM manipulation and responsive CSS.
• Expertise in building and debugging mobile-friendly web interfaces.
• Proficiency in cross-browser testing and debugging, including debugging on mobile devices and desktops.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Basic experience with Chrome Extensions.
• Familiarity with Node.js and npm workflows.
