Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Engineer, Platform Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our technical infrastructure, including hardware and system software
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive business success
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes
• Providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues
• Developing and maintaining documentation, including infrastructure as code models and knowledge base articles

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Delivery & Execution (30%): Developing and implementing infrastructure architectures, collaborating with teams to deliver solutions, and ensuring systems are secure and up-to-date
• Learning (15%): Staying current with industry trends, participating in learning activities, and applying knowledge to improve systems and processes
• Planning & Analysis (20%): Researching and analyzing business trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies
• Support & Enablement (35%): Collaborating with teams to understand needs, enabling them with infrastructure, and providing expert-level support and troubleshooting

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 3-5 years' experience in Linux/Unix administration, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and remediation skills, with experience in multiple IT disciplines
• Scripting language experience, with proficiency in Bash and Go preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, network operations, and version control systems
• A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
