Senior Application Systems Analyst

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India. We are seeking an experienced and solutions-driven Senior Applications Systems Analyst to lead the planning, design, and implementation of critical information systems. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and oversee the full development life cycle-including system administration, documentation, and support. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with relational databases and web-based applications, and proficiency in Excel and Word. Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business users and development teams to define system requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Design screen layouts, reports, and file structures that support system functionality and meet end-user needs.
• Create and revise program and system documentation to support application development and system changes.
• Plan, manage, and monitor projects to ensure effective use of programming resources, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools.
• Perform complex technical tasks including the design, documentation, and programming of logic for applications and systems.
• Provide system administration support and serve as the primary system liaison when needed.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational values and contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented team culture.
• Perform other related duties and support activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis, design, and implementation.
• Extensive experience designing and working with relational databases, online systems, and web-based applications.
• Prior experience in the financial services or mortgage industry is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Proficiency in writing technical specifications and documentation.
• Excellent time management and project planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details The base range for this contract position is $54-64/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
