SEO Expert
This is a remote position.
We are supporting a growing fintech company to find a seasoned SEO Expert to take full ownership of their search strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, resource-lean environments and knows how to drive real SEO results from the ground up. You'll be the go-to expert, staying on top of Google's ever-evolving algorithms, and making smart, data-backed decisions to improve visibility and traffic. Term: Contract Full-Time Location: Fully remote with flexible hours, need to overlap with Eastern Time. What You'll Do- Own and execute the SEO strategy across the company’s web presence.
- Stay ahead of frequent Google algorithm changes and ensure the site maintains strong rankings.
- Conduct regular SEO audits and implement technical and content-related optimizations.
- Leverage tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs for keyword research, competitive analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., dev, content) to implement best practices.
- Analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and refine strategies to drive traffic and conversion.
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in resource-lean or startup environments.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge and experience improving rankings from the ground up.
- Proficient with SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt strategies based on changing algorithms and performance trends.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Independent, proactive, and data-driven mindset.
