AWF E6B Naval Aircrewman Mechanical Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Overview i3 is seeking an E-6B Reel Operator/Naval Aircrewman Mechanical (AWF) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist a software development team in developing virtual training solutions. The candidate must be able to translate aviation terminology, procedures, and operations for the Virtual Training Suite (VTS) development team. The candidate would also assist with product progress reporting, scheduling, and customer (stakeholder) interface. Pay Range $80,000-$100,000 The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, geographic location, and any applicable laws.

Responsibilities

The candidate will provide subject matter expertise through design meetings, storyboard creation, and software content validation. Candidate should be able to adapt to changing workloads quickly and collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices to ensure a high-quality standard. This fast-paced work environment has plenty of room for creativity, expression, and growth. Candidates should possess excellent communication and analytical skills; knowledge of interactive multimedia instruction is a plus. The candidate will work closely with customers, supervisors, instructional systems designers, software designers, software engineers, and 3D artists to create interactive mobile, web, augmented reality, virtual reality, desktop training systems, serious games, and distributed learning simulations. Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Associate's degree plus at least eight years of relevant experience with a G54A NEC. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Experience serving as an AWF E6B Reel Operator Instructor within the fleet.
• Ability to obtain/maintain SECRET security clearance.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite

Preferred Experience:

• Master Training Specialist
• Experience serving as an E6B FRS Instructor.
• Familiarity with software development and 3D creation are a plus.
