About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Thermoform Model Designer to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise Thermaform Models based on scans received from dental practitioners. This role requires technical expertise, dental knowledge, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Import STL files to 3 shape design design software 

• Making sure STL files are adequate for design 

• Repair patching or extending borders to Dr scans

• Adding either pins bars or any geometric shape for printable models 

• Work with mesh mixer to repair, add, and articulate both arches to import to 3shape

• Export finish model design into either Zip or STL files as part of the SOP workflow

What We're Looking For

• 1-2yrs 3Shape / Exocad experience at any of the listed Module)

• Abutment/Bars Designer

• Crown&Bridge design experience

• Ability to do Model, Bite, and Nesting

• Wax/Metal Full Contour

Bonus Points For

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management abilities 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Additional Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer

• Patient enough to take the time to troubleshoot
