As our Talent Team grows we are looking for a senior level, high performing, courageous and creative talent partner eager to take on a new 3-6 month contract based challenge in Japan.

In this role, you will directly source for talent in Japan across all areas of our business with a focus on Sales Leadership and Senior Level Engineering.

You will build on a first-class candidate experience, and influence the scaling of a high-growth AI start up with some of the greatest minds in the industry.

In this contract role, you will

  • Build, own, and nurture a strong pipeline of world-class Sales Leadership and Engineering talent by utilizing a range of sourcing techniques and creative sourcing strategies.

  • Support hiring across all levels and functions in the business

  • Manage the candidate experience from cold outreach to full cycle and develop strong relationships with candidates.

  • Partner with talent partners and hiring managers/interview teams, developing effective direct sourcing strategies to achieve hiring goals.

  • Keep up-to-date with the talent market and industry insights in an effort to foster informed decision making.

  • Initiate and take ownership of exciting talent projects.

This may be a good contract opporutnity

  • MUST HAVE: Minimum of 10 years of experience directly sourcing candidates at Director and VP levels across Sales and Engineering for enterprise focussed technology organizations

  • Strong experience initiating and managing creative talent sourcing strategies.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Courage, resilience and an ability to work effectively in a dynamic change oriented environment. 

  • A track record of taking ownership; directly sourcing top of funnel candidates across multiple business areas both tech and non-tech.

  • A natural curiosity for the AI industry, specifically around cutting edge research within the NLP space.

  • Strong working knowledge of Ashby is a major bonus!
