ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the DevSecOps function at Procurify. In this role, you will help the team and Procurify scale up to the next level of growth. Procurify has built an incredible DevSecOps team staffed with creative, collaborative people. The DevSecOps team is responsible for our cloud infrastructure, security, reliability, deployment pipelines, and the operation of our on-call rotations.

We are currently planning large platform initiatives to support Procurify in its next stage of growth. In leading this team, you will be a key player in these initiatives, working closely with our Engineering Leadership and Platform development teams to shape the future of engineering at Procurify.

What you’ll be working on

• Lead and develop a team of 4–8 DevOps, Security, and Site Reliability Engineers.

• Leading a team managing a modern, production-grade infrastructure stack

  • We are fully deployed on AWS.

  • Our core application runs in Kubernetes with AWS EKS.

  • All our infrastructure is managed through infrastructure as code through Terraform.

  • We use CircleCI for our build pipelines and ArgoCD for continuous deployment.

  • Our monitoring stack uses Prometheus, Grafana for metrics and alerting.

• Working with engineering teams to shift security left in the software development cycle—creating security-as-code.

• Leading our incident response processes—ensuring prompt, thorough responses for both internal and customer-facing events.

• Collaborating with leadership roles across our engineering organization to support DevSecOps best practices and to enable all teams to own their own infrastructure.

• Rotating between projects and committing to continuous learning with our lean kanban processes.

• Facilitating planning, prioritization, and critical reviews for DevOps, SecOps, and SRE backlogs.

• Enabling strong cross-functional collaboration with Development, Product, Operations, and Support teams to ensure platform reliability and developer productivity.

Who we’re looking for

• 5+ years of DevOps, Security, or DevSecOps experience, shipping and supporting enterprise grade software in AWS including 3+ years of management.

• Proven experience managing engineers and developing leadership within a high-performing team.

• Strong technical expertise, including:

  • Scaling SaaS platforms on AWS.

  • Securing Kubernetes workloads using network policies, service mesh, and container hardening best practices.

  • Implementing secure CI/CD pipelines with tools like CircleCI and ArgoCD, including vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement.

  • Collaborating with application teams to manage web-based SaaS systems.

  • Managing infrastructure as code with Terraform.

  • Operating observability stacks like EFK, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Experience working in a highly secure environment with compliance requirements such as SOC 2 or ISO27001.

• A track record of improving reliability, security, and team performance through strong leadership and metrics-driven decision making.

• Base Salary Range: $156,000 - $200,000 (This range is dependent on experience and not inclusive of any bonus, commission, benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)
