Job Description: • This position supports the Health Management Delivery Operations (HMDO) Prior Authorization team in performing the daily work associated with processing prior authorization requests. • This includes processing of requests according to established and documented guidelines and within all contractual timeline requirements. • Process to completion 100% of assigned work utilizing documented work instructions to meet daily minimum production expectations. • Perform daily work according to established quality standards. • Perform special project research as assigned. • Interact professionally with PA staff to provide appropriate and timely responses. • Respond to inquiries as assigned within specified due dates. • Make recommendations to management to improve business processes and efficiency. • Complete all assigned training, learning, and self-development in required timeframes.
