United States, Georgia, Atlanta Finance 23-Jul-2024 Ref #: 25585 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Air Lines Is Seeking a Senior Analyst To Assist With Accounting And The Monthly Close Process. The Successful Candidate Will • Have a working knowledge of GAAP and how it is applied to accounting processes • Understand control processes, work directly with internal and external auditors to provide requested information and support, and be able to assist with and perform annual risk assessments • Prepare accounting entries through use of data models and research in the SAP financial system • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, general ledger research, and variance analysis • Review and document controls and accounting processes, while seeking out opportunities to automate, increase efficiency, and streamline existing processes • Review and summarize contracts, leases, and other legal documents • Facilitate internal and external reporting processes including monthly preparation and quality control of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), internal reporting packages, and 10Q/10K disclosures Benefits and Perks to Help You Keep Climbing Our culture is rooted in a shared dedication to living our values – Care, Integrity, Resilience, Servant Leadership, and Teamwork – every day, in everything we do. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications) • Licensed CPA • Undergraduate degree in accounting or business • Advanced Degree in accounting or business • Experience with Delta’s financial tools such as SAP, HFM, Nakisa, Oracle, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Suite including Power BI, and/or SQL
