Job Title: Remote Call Center Agent About The Role We are currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Call Center Agents. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in assisting Maryland residents with their healthcare benefits by answering inquiries, guiding consumers through their health insurance options, and facilitating the application process. Job Overview As a Call Center Agent, you will handle an average of 30-35 inbound calls daily, with the possibility of increased call volume during peak enrollment times. To ensure you are well-equipped for this role, successful candidates will participate in a comprehensive 7-week paid training program. Please note that candidates are required to provide their own computer (excluding Chromebooks and iPads) and a headset for the role. Key Responsibilities • Respond to incoming calls from consumers and prospective enrollees, providing information on healthcare benefits. • Accurately track and document inquiries in our systems. • Process tasks following established guidelines and timelines. • Uphold high-quality service standards and achieve key performance metrics. • Assist consumers with modifications to their existing applications. • Help reset passwords for consumer self-service access. • Provide updates regarding application statuses, including coverage activation. • Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate team members as needed. • Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers, adhering to established procedures. • Attend training sessions and meetings to remain informed on all programs and updates. Required Skills • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a call center or a comparable customer service role. • Ability to effectively manage a high volume of inbound calls. • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding performance metrics. • Self-motivated, punctual, and quick to learn. • Strong organizational skills with the capability to multitask. • Excellent communication skills, with a keen ability to listen and respond appropriately. • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with typical office software. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED is required. Benefits And Compensation • Salary: $16.13 per hour • Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (your shift will fall within this range) • Location: Remote (work from home) • No travel is required. • Full-time employees are eligible for a competitive benefits package, which includes paid holidays, paid time off, medical, and dental coverage.
