Position: Remote Bookkeeper We are actively seeking a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both our financial records and those of our clients, ensuring that all information is precise and adheres to applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities • Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process. • Ensure that all transactions are documented correctly in the appropriate daybooks, ledgers, and general ledger. • Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. • Reconcile bank statements to confirm the precision of financial data. • Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently. • Assist with preparing budgets and financial forecasts. • Maintain systematic and precise financial filing systems. • Support audit processes and guarantee compliance with financial regulations. • Aid in tax preparation and filing processes. Required Skills • Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper or in a comparable financial role. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Suite. • Skill in creating QBO rules to streamline repetitive entry management. • Capability to manage multiple companies’ accounting records, particularly involving related transactions and cash flow. • Strong grasp of bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Outstanding organizational and time-management capabilities. • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients. • Ability to remain organized and meet deadlines for tax preparation. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices.
