We take pride in the positive changes we make in our community Work directly with children with disabilities, one-on-one, helping them to learn play, language, self-care, and cognitive skills For more information, visit PEOPLE SERVED: This position focuses on preschool-age children but can include working with children of all ages. We provide services to children with developmental disabilities--like Autism--who have demonstrated challenging behaviors and require professional support. WAGE: $20-$25 hourly Based on experience working in ABA, education, credentials, and other qualifications LOCATION: Our Preschool Clinic is located in Sherman Oaks. Depending on your availability, you may also be scheduled for sessions in schools and homes throughout the San Fernando Valley. HOURS: We are currently hiring full time and part time Behavior Interventionists. Full Time: 30+ hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-6:30pm + 1/2 day on Saturday or Sunday Part Time: 10-30 hours per week 8:00am-3:00pm Tuesday/Thursday or Mon/Wed/Fri Requirements Passion and enthusiasm for helping children, including ability to be silly and play Ability to run, crawl, kneel, play on the floor, and engage in fast-paced physical activities with young children Previous experience working with children (family experience, babysitting, & tutoring all count) CA Driver's License, auto insurance, reliable transportation, & willingness to travel US work authorization Negative TB test results Must pass criminal background check Covid 19-Vaccination + 1 booster TDaP and MMR Immunization record COVID-19/PANDEMIC SERVICE PROVISION INFORMATION: All employees must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (including minimum 1 booster) for the safety of our staff, the children we serve, and our community.
