Job Overview We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and committed educators to join our dynamic team, an educational provider on Outschool.com. Outschool is a global virtual learning platform with a diverse community of over 1 million learners worldwide. We specialize in offering niche and interest-based classes, with a primary focus on serving homeschoolers... Our classes take place online via Zoom or through asynchronous delivery. While we provide a structured course framework, we encourage educators to infuse their unique teaching styles, foster organic discussions, and explore topics in engaging and creative ways with our learners. Currently, we're in search of educators for our Spanish immersion classes. Duties Personalize pre-existing lesson plans to align with your teaching approach. Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to captivate students' interest. Evaluate student performance and offer constructive feedback. Foster collaboration within our team to ensure a cohesive learning experience. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress, as needed. Work Environment To effectively teach, you must have access to a quiet, well-lit teaching space with reliable technology. If you have young children, arrangements for childcare must be made to ensure an environment free of distractions for our enrolled participants. Additionally, for background check purposes, you must reside in one of the following countries: US, England, Wales, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Korea. Background checks are renewed annually at no cost to you. Qualifications A formal teaching license or classroom experience is not required. We consider various experiences, including corporate training and volunteer roles. The essential qualities for success include strong classroom management skills, a genuine passion for the subject matter, and a solid understanding of the topics you'll be teaching. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability in tailoring teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners. Display patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
