Position Summary: Our reservation agents assist Costco members in the planning of their vacation travel, with a focus on first-call resolution in a fast-paced call center environment. Job Duties/Essential Functions:
- Handles member calls in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Uses airline and in-house computer systems to make member reservations.
- Confirms reservations accurately.
- Communicates members’ needs to other support departments.
- Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.
Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications: Required:
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Typing speed minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Detail-oriented approach to work.
Recommended:
- Sales experience (preferably phone sales).
- Travel industry experience.
- Call center experience.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing work environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Internet Explorer.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED
