Remote Healthcare Instructional Designer (HEDIS)

About the position CSI Companies is hiring a Remote Healthcare Instructional Designer (HEDIS) for our Fortune100 healthcare client. In this role, you will develop engaging, effective training content and eLearning experiences for both full-time employees and contractors. You'll collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to drive educational initiatives that support operational success and compliance. You will report to the Senior Director overseeing education, training, communications, and project management. The team culture is collaborative, detail-driven, and solution-oriented, working closely with internal and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to develop, refine, and finalize training content

,

• Design learning solutions aligned with training objectives and business needs

,

• Develop self-paced eLearning modules using Company-authorized tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Oracle platforms)

,

• Support and maintain SharePoint learning content

,

• Evaluate instructional materials and provide feedback or improvement recommendations

,

• Coordinate and manage training and communication platforms

,

• Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with HEDIS-related operations

,

• Stay current on instructional design best practices and training technologies

Requirements

• Verifiable Associate's Degree or higher

,

• 4+ years of instructional design experience, including eLearning creation

,

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare, HEDIS, or related fields

,

• 2+ years of managing training or communication platforms

,

• Proven ability to simplify and communicate complex content

,

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

,

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

,

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

,

• Experience with eLearning technologies and platforms

,

• High-speed internet on your own home, private network

,

• Distraction-free work environment separate from others due to potential HIPAA violations

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field

,

• Project management experience

,

• Proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360

,

• SharePoint design and administration experience

,

• Familiarity with HEDIS software vendors and/or auditors

,

• Experience in medical record review

,

• Previous experience in managed care environments is highly desirable

• Large corporation experience and Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
