Telehealth RN - Remote eICU Care
Job OverviewWe are looking for dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurses to join our pioneering eICU team in a remote capacity. In this vital position, you will deliver exceptional virtual care to critically ill patients across a diverse network of hospitals.Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote surveillance and support for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate effectively with bedside nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- React promptly to patient changes and assist with the management of acute medical conditions.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the establishment of best practices in eICU care.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for bedside nurses caring for critically ill patients.
- Excellent communication abilities, critical thinking, and adept problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with bedside nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Proficient in responding to patient changes and managing acute illnesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in critical care nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin or a compact state.
- Valid CPR/BLS certification.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
