Job description: Description of the role:Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor for English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs. The role involves providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to students of various ages and proficiency levels in Carlsbad, California.Responsibilities:
- Developing personalized lesson plans based on student's needs and goals.
- Using online auditory tools and apps to help students hear the English language and practice speaking.
- Evaluating students' progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their language proficiency.
- Communicating with students' parents/guardians to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Experience teaching ESL/ESOL to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation rules in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Competitive compensation: $28.5 per hour.
