Speak to applicable patterns that will best achieve desired software functionality. Deliver value and new application features. Participate in strategy discussions that impact health and roadmap of web application suites. Work with Operations business partners and Strategic Analytics colleagues to evaluate complex user-requests and projects. Partner with subject matter experts to gain a working knowledge of legacy applications and code in need of migration. Collaborate with other Senior Software Developers to deliver products aligned with recommended architectural and design patterns. Identify new patterns as they emerge, test software product performance, effectiveness, and compliance, and diagnose and troubleshoot errors and end user issues. Solidify objectives and functional requirements for new or enhanced application capabilities, and determine and estimate feasibility, cost, and time required and compatibility with current systems, and pepare project documentation. Hybrid work schedule.Qualifications:Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development or web application design and development or a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software development or web application design and development. Must have experience with: HTML/HTML5, CSS3, React JS, JavaScript, AJAX, Twitter Bootstrap, NodeJS, and GruntJS; Agile; Java, SpringBoot, Junit, Kafka, Typescript, New Relic, Kibana, graphQL, SonarQube, Maven, Swagger, Splunk, and Postman; Machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About The Cigna GroupDoing something meaningful starts with a simple decision, a commitment to changing lives.
