Senior Data Engineer, Infrastructure Services

The Infrastructure Services Programs and Solutions team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated and hard-working engineer to be part of a diverse, fast paced and high-energy team. We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to help build robust data solutions using advanced level of SQL, Tableau and Python. Description In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, building, and operating innovative data solutions that are not only scalable but also adept at applying various technologies and frameworks to meet our complex business needs. Responsibilities: Design comprehensive reporting frameworks, build actionable and intuitive visualizations and use data visualization tools effectively. Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and partners to support data modeling, analysis, and reporting needs. Take ownership of individual platform components and help set the vision and architecture for it. Identify requirements of new features, and propose design and drive the solution. Build generic and reusable solutions that can scale and use various technologies and frameworks to address complex business requirements. Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Develop automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple database

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence with proficiency in advanced SQL on MPP/NoSQL databases such as Vertica, Snowflake, Redshift.
• Experience with Data analysis and visualization reporting tools including Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting and building data warehouse solutions on cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake)
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in JavaScript programming with knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, D3, Angular, or Vue.
• Basic knowledge on Machine Learning, Generative AI concepts to assist in data analytics.
• Conduct statistical data analysis, predictive modeling using Python, and other technologies
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD practices, automated testing, and migration tools for databases and software
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to present key performance metrics to executives

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
