About the position As a Curriculum Professional Learning Facilitator for Lexia Learning Products, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional learning and consultation services to schools and districts across the United States. This position is designed for independent contractors who will facilitate both live online and in-person training sessions primarily for educators in Virginia, Georgia, Florida, and Texas, although there may be opportunities to work with clients nationwide. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that educators receive engaging and effective learning experiences that enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of Professional Facilitators to deliver successful training sessions. You will also work with Customer Success Managers to tailor each session to meet the specific needs of the educators you are training. This includes reviewing feedback from surveys to continuously improve your professional learning sessions and contributing to the development of training materials alongside the Learning and Development and Product teams. You will be expected to stay updated on the latest research in educational delivery methods and share these insights with your colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will also include completing post-learning experience reports within specified time frames and facilitating quarterly calls with other national facilitators to share best practices. This position requires a commitment to delivering sessions at least 3-4 days a month, with occasional weekend travel. You will need to be flexible with your schedule to accommodate the needs of the educators you are supporting, which may include early morning or evening sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate professional learning sessions for educators primarily in VA, GA, FL, and TX.

  • Participate in onboarding and ongoing internal training of Lexia Learning products.

  • Collaborate with the Manager of Professional Facilitators to ensure effective learning experiences.

,

  • Work with Customer Success Managers to customize training sessions as needed.

,

  • Advise Learning and Development and Product teams on material development for onsite use.

,

  • Review survey data and apply feedback for professional growth.

,

  • Complete post-learning experience reports within specified time frames.

,

  • Enhance the internal training program by adding tasks and coaching others.

  • Facilitate quarterly calls with national facilitators to share best practices.

  • Stay updated on the latest research in delivery methods and share insights with the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education required; Master's degree preferred.

,

  • At least 5 years of teaching experience in K-12 education.

,

  • At least 2 years of experience as a literacy and/or instructional coach providing professional learning to adult learners.

,

  • Availability to deliver sessions Monday-Friday at least 3-4 days a month, with occasional weekend travel.

,

  • Located near a major airport for national travel with overnight stays.

Nice-to-haves

  • More than 2 years of ESL instruction in K-12 preferred.

  • Superior facilitation skills with active engagement and confident presentation abilities.

  • Strong ability to motivate K-12 educators.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Organized with the ability to multitask.
