As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your part-time role is vital to our continued success in today's retail landscape. In addition, as an entry level Store Associate, you will be trained in technology and print products/services, ensuring you're equipped with the knowledge to assist customers effectively. Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer. ? Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services. ? Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs. ? Store Operations Commitment: ? Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment. ? Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation. ? Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes. ? Ensures freight sorting area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines. ? Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily. ? Print and Tech Expertise: ? Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided which includes successful completion, at minimum, of Tech, Print, and other applicable training. ? Continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required. ? Sales Techniques: ? Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company?s loss prevention efforts. ? Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: ? High School diploma or equivalent education preferred. ? No previous experience required. ? Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job. ? Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates. ? Must be able to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools and process inventory. ? Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $08.89/hour to $13.78/hour, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
