Consultant Category Target Sales Team
About the position The Consultant Category Target Sales Team at Hershey is responsible for executing strategic business plans to achieve sales goals and market share targets. This role involves utilizing analytical tools and data to support category management and drive profitable growth in collaboration with retail partners, particularly Target. The position emphasizes teamwork, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to building strong relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities ? Act as the Category Expert to execute the Strategic Business Plan using Trade Management or Business Development Planning Process. , ? Utilize tools and data such as Space Management and Syndicated Data Analysis to support the strategic business plan. , ? Support CSE's in Promotion Planning and the BDP process. , ? Implement tools and insights to drive sales volume and support business planning processes. , ? Present findings derived from data in Account and Cycle Planning sessions. , ? Research data to support Account Penetration and analyze data for effective communication of goals and strategies. , ? Collaborate with retailers to uncover insights and build action plans for market share growth. , ? Partner with Hershey Shopper Insights to influence execution through the Target Shopper Lens. Requirements ? 2-4 years of Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience. , ? Knowledge of Category Management processes and CPG Industry trends. , ? Technical skills in space planning software, syndicated and panel data sources, data analysis and visualization tools, and Microsoft Office. , ? Prior planogram experience, preferably in the candy or snack business. , ? Understanding of database management tools like Tableau, Alteryx, and Databricks. , ? Strong drive for results and excellent communication skills. , ? Intellectual curiosity and a team-first mindset. , ? Experience in impactful data-driven storytelling and strong problem-solving capabilities. , ? Project management, collaboration, and organizational skills. , ? Bachelor's Degree required. Nice-to-haves ? Experience with Target specific applications VIQ and IRI TCN.
