Warehouse Associate

Crosstown Plumbing is a successful plumbing store located in East Orange, NJ. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our growing team! Training opportunities ? Annual holiday party What you?ll do: ? Pack/load products for shipping, receive UPS and other warehouse orders, and assist customers with "will call" pickups ? Cut and thread pipe, cut tubing, and wire to smaller lengths ? Counting and tracking inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring stock levels are properly documented; be able to alert management of shortages and damages ? Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders ? Maintain cleanliness for warehouse and restroom facilities, including sanitizing surfaces, replenishing supplies, etc. ? Place new inventory into bins and clear garbage to ensure clear aisles ? Sort and stock misplaced inventory ? Safely operating material-handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, forklift, manual pallet jack, etc.) ? Regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds ? Be able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment Requirements ? Minimum 1 year of work experience and High School Diploma or G.E.D, or equivalent combination of education and experience ? Prior experience in receiving and managing inventory is essential for this role ? Ability to pass forklift safety training and maintain an accident-free workplace ? Ability to work full-time hours, including weekend shifts required ? Ability to follow instructions and documented procedures ?
