Professional Engineer - Site and Land Development
Moore Bass Consulting is a growing, well-established civil engineering firm providing consulting services throughout the southeast. Some of our many services include Civil, Environmental, Land Surveying, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Construction Administration. Moore Bass Consulting has an opening for an experienced Professional Engineer with project management, civil site development, and Civil 3D CAD experience in our Tallahasse, FL office. The position requires a strong understanding of land and site civil engineering design with previous experience working with water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure design projects. This role requires regular interaction with our CAD drafters, technicians, and clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Design experience, mastery of Civil 3D and mastery of stormwater modeling software required. Typical Duties: ? Project Management ? Engineering design and CAD production for multiple projects and multiple clients ? Visit job sites and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development needs ? Work within project scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects ? Managing other engineering and CAD technicians? work and interface with other disciplines as needed ? Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas ? Supervise AutoCAD technicians and administrative staff Minimum Requirements: Education: BS degree in Civil Engineering Registrations: Current valid PE (Florida Registration) Skills: ? 10+ years of design experience in support of public and private projects ? Experience with civil engineering projects including preparation of construction plans ? Experience with regulatory approval processes ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ?
