MIG Welder
About the position We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, focusing on welding galvanized steel products. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding using .035 wire, primarily on vertical welds, with some flat and horizontal welds on 12 or 18 gauge steel. The work will mainly involve fabricating sheet metal boxes and other custom projects, and candidates may also be required to insulate ducts as needed. A strong ability to read blueprints is essential for this role, as it will guide the welding process and ensure precision in the final products. This position is based in a shop environment that is not climate-controlled, meaning that exposure to varying temperatures and fumes is expected. The standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some opportunities for overtime. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production processes, and we are looking for someone who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team setting. Responsibilities ? Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel products using .035 wire. , ? Execute mostly vertical welds, with some flat and horizontal welds on 12 or 18 gauge steel. , ?
