Job Description
The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for report writing and fieldwork on various OER projects throughout the 5 boroughs. The role includes construction oversight, community air monitoring (CAMP), soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and more. Responsibilities ? Conduct construction oversight and community air monitoring (CAMP). ? Perform soil and groundwater sampling. ? Prepare and write detailed reports. ? Engage in fieldwork as necessary for various projects. Essential Skills ? Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science. ? 5+ years of field experience in construction oversight, community air monitoring (CAMP), soil sampling, and groundwater sampling. ? Excellent communication skills. ? Proficiency in report writing. ? Willingness to work in the field. ? Relevant certifications such as Hazwoper, OSHA 30, OSHA 10, and OSHA 40. Additional Skills & Qualifications ? SST Card ? OSHA 40 HAZWOPER Work Environment -10 people - Great relationships win the environmental world - A large backlog of work - Great office culture The role requires both office and fieldwork. On-site hours are from 6:45 am to 3:30 pm Office hours are from 9 am to 6 pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
