Position: Data Leader (AWS) Location: Holiday We are seeking an experienced Data Leader with practical experience in developing robust data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS core data services, data integration technologies, and emerging data tools. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data architectures that align with business needs, leveraging AWS services and established data technologies. Key Responsibilities: ? Develop and implement data solutions using AWS core data services, with a deep focus on data service design patterns. ? Lead the design and implementation of multiple data programs, including Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Advanced Analytics, Master Data Management, Data Modeling, and Data Virtualization. ? Drive end-to-end data management and integration strategies, ensuring data solutions align with business goals. ? Design and implement event-driven data integration strategies to meet business needs effectively. ? Collaborate with teams to integrate data ingestion technologies and emerging tools (e.g., Parquet, Iceberg, and unstructured data) into the organization?s data ecosystem. ? Develop strategies to improve data pipelines and optimize the data lifecycle from ingestion to analytics. ? Guide the organization in understanding and adopting emerging data technologies, ensuring their successful integration into existing systems. ? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS data services and emerging trends to continually enhance data solutions and strategies.REQUIREMENTS ? 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing data solutions. ? Strong understanding of AWS core data services, including but not limited to S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Kinesis. ? Proven experience in implementing large-scale data programs such as Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Advanced Analytics, and Master Data Management. ? Expertise in data management, data integration, and working with data ingestion technologies. ? In-depth knowledge of data modeling, analytics, and the effective use of data virtualization. ? Experience with emerging technologies like Parquet, Iceberg, and handling unstructured data. ? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design innovative solutions based on business needs. ? Ability to lead and mentor teams in the adoption of data integration and management best practices. Preferred Skills: ? Experience with event-driven architectures and data integration strategies. ? Industry experience defining and implementing solutions using various data integration technologies. ?
