Broward Health Medical Center Shift: Night Shift FTE: 0.900000 Summary: This position is for a clinical pharmacy specialist in the ER. The ideal candidate will be well versed in trauma and neurology support in a level I trauma environment. Activities will include but not limited to clinical support for codes, traumas and stroke as well as medication history oversight and culture reviews. Assisting nurses and supporting the main pharmacy with ER related issues. Provides specialized clinical activities relating to designated clinical programs in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Performs various types of medication utilization activities within a defined area, including but not limited to anticoagulation, pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, order verification, and IV to PO-conversions. Participates in committees and represents the department of pharmacy throughout the hospital or ambulatory settings within the area of focus. ?
