About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Principal, Business Development for our Corporate Business Development team. This individual will play a leadership role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive substantial value for Intuit and accelerate our growth trajectory. Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with internal executive leadership to identify, prioritize and pursue high-impact partnership opportunities. Continuously evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner options, challenging assumptions and bringing new perspectives on achieving product and business objectives. • Cultivate relationships and influence key decision-makers internally and at partner organizations. Proactively identify potential barriers and display creativity and persistence in working through setbacks to achieve optimal outcomes for Intuit. • Serve as the end-to-end owner for contract negotiations, leveraging deep expertise, data-driven insights, and strong emotional intelligence to navigate challenging discussions and secure favorable terms for Intuit while maintaining strong partner relationships. • Oversee the execution of agreements, including the development of joint business plans, establishment of launch strategies, and ongoing monitoring of performance metrics to ensure successful implementation and achievement of defined goals. Actively identify opportunities to expand partnerships into new areas and maximize value creation. • Establish yourself as a trusted thought partner to business unit stakeholders and actively share expertise and best practices. Influence the team's strategic direction, anticipate objections, and proactively address concerns to secure buy-in and drive initiatives forward. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, results-orientation, and a deep commitment to partnership success. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $196,000 - 265,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
