Hourly - CDL A Driver Merchandiser

About the position The Driver Merchandiser at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and effectively to customers. This position requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety and compliance standards. The Driver Merchandiser is responsible for delivering products to assigned routes, merchandising, displaying, and rotating products according to company standards. This role also involves picking up company property and returning it, as well as invoicing and collecting amounts due from customers, ensuring that accounts are settled daily. In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Driver Merchandiser must maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. This includes fostering strong relationships with store management and personnel to enhance customer satisfaction. The position demands physical stamina, as the Driver Merchandiser must be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push heavy loads, as well as operate manual and powered material handling equipment. The role is designed for self-motivated individuals who can work independently and manage their time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Responsibilities • Deliver products to customers on assigned route , • Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards , • Pick up company property and returns , • Move, lift and load product and company property , • Invoice and collect amounts due; settle accounts daily , • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures , • Provide superior customer service and foster relationships with store management and personnel Requirements • Valid CDL A with no restrictions & clean driving record , • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred , • 1-3 years of general work experience required , • 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred , • Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising, retail management and/or customer service experience preferred , • Ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds , • Ability to reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach , • Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance , • Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and able to perform job duties with minimal supervision Nice-to-haves • Experience in route delivery or direct store delivery , • Experience in retail management , • Customer service experience Benefits • 401K with Company Match , • Health Insurance , • Life Insurance , • Paid Time Off , • Employee Referral Bonuses , • Fitness Reimbursements , • Tuition Reimbursement , • Employee Discounts , • Scholarship Opportunities Apply Job!
