The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Include But Are Not Limited To • Install HVAC Systems: Read blueprints and technical diagrams to install HVAC systems according to design specifications and manufacturer's instructions. • Able to work evenings, nights, some out of town. • Communications: Able to communicate with fellow employees, customers through email, customer software, and/or project management. • Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and checking system pressure. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC equipment. • Compliance: Ensure HVAC systems and procedures adhere to laws, regulations, and standards. Check electrical wiring, thermostats, and distribution systems for any issues. • Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service and maintain a professional rapport with clients. Advise clients on energy-saving measures and potential upgrades to their HVAC systems. • Documentation: Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records electronically. • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess • Experience: Proven experience as an HVAC Installer/Technician in a commercial setting. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or apprenticeship preferred. • Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Licenses/Certifications: Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
