Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently. , • Understand and meet customer needs: Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability. , • Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales. , • Resolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible. , • Communicate needs to management: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner. , • Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Requirements • At least 16 years old , • Available to work a flexible schedule , • Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices) , • Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers , • Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally , • Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems , • Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training Nice-to-haves
