HVAC Service Technician (Mid to Senior Level)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team in various residential and commercial settings. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, refrigeration units, and air conditioning units. • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all service activities. • Document all service work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems. • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. • Proficiency in appliance repair, plumbing, and equipment repair related to HVAC systems. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. • Valid driver's license is preferred for field service roles. • Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is a plus.
