About the position The Specialty Artist - MAC at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales of the MAC brand by engaging with guests to understand their needs, assisting them in product selection, and maintaining store standards. This role requires professional makeup artistry skills, exceptional guest service, and the ability to communicate product knowledge effectively. The position supports the Experience Manager by focusing on performance, guest service, and compliance with operating procedures. Responsibilities • Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals. , • Build and maintain strong customer relationships. , • Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging every guest. , • Conduct personalized makeup demonstrations and applications. , • Stay informed about promotions and marketing initiatives. , • Book appointments for services and in-store events. , • Maintain an active clientele portfolio for MAC brand sales. , • Participate in ongoing training for professional development. , • Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business. , • Adhere to Ulta Beauty's policies and standards. Requirements • High school diploma preferred. , • Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by state law. , • Cosmetics artistry experience preferred. , • Demonstrates significant competency in sales, products, and service. , • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. , • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. , • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
