Ticket/Gate Agent (Seasonal) - PBI

About the position As a Ticket/Gate Agent at Delta Air Lines, you will play a vital role in ensuring that cargo is transported safely and on time. This entry-level seasonal position involves greeting customers, assisting with ticketing and baggage check-in, and ensuring a smooth travel experience. You will be responsible for various tasks including managing the check-in and boarding processes, handling baggage, and providing assistance to passengers, including unaccompanied minors and those with disabilities. Responsibilities • Owning the check-in process and boarding process. , • Making gate announcements and ensuring customers have accurate travel documentation. , • Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts, with some bags weighing up to 70 pounds. , • Operating loading bridges and managing aircraft doors. , • Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport. Requirements • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. , • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. , • Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. , • Basic digital literacy and ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT). , • Ability to hold airport specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
