About the position The Infusion Nurse II, Cardiopulmonary position at Accredo involves utilizing advanced nursing skills to provide exceptional patient care for individuals with complex health conditions. The nurse will also mentor new staff and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities • Provide exceptional coordination of care, patient education, and medication administration for patients with cardiac or pulmonary conditions. , • Mentor and train new nurses through the Central Orientation Program, demonstrating competency and observing home visits. , • Collaborate with healthcare teams to address changes in patient conditions or drug management issues. , • Work with nursing leadership to meet operational and performance improvement goals focused on patient care. Requirements • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. , • Active or eligibility to obtain national certification (CRNI) or other relevant certification. , • BSN degree with 3+ years of relevant RN experience, ASN degree with 5+ years, or Nursing Diploma with 8+ years of relevant RN experience. , • Five or more years of intensive care nursing experience in Cardiac Care Unit, Pulmonary Care Unit, or similar roles. , • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within a large geographic area. , • Ability to work Monday-Friday, day shift, with occasional evening or weekend visits as needed. , • Tech-savvy with the ability to use Microsoft and IOS applications.
