Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Extreme Networks Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Extreme Networks wireless and wired solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise with Extreme Networks’ product line and a strong background in network infrastructure, configuration, and security. Key Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, configure, and optimize Extreme Networks wired and wireless solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high availability and performance. • Provide technical leadership and expertise on Extreme Networks switching, routing, and wireless technologies. • Perform network assessments and recommend improvements based on best practices. • Work with clients to understand their needs and customize solutions accordingly. • Train internal teams and end-users on Extreme Networks products and configurations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex network implementations. • Stay updated with the latest Extreme Networks advancements, security updates, and best practices. Qualifications: • Expert-level knowledge of Extreme Networks wired and wireless solutions. • Extensive hands-on experience with Extreme Networks switches, access points, controllers, and cloud management. • Strong understanding of network security, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and QoS. • Experience with troubleshooting and network performance optimization. • Relevant certifications such as Extreme Certified Specialist (ECS), Extreme Certified Expert (ECE), or equivalent. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.). • Familiarity with cloud networking solutions and SD-WAN. • Experience with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.). #REM Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
