Information Technology Project Manager

Crossvale is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager (PM) to lead and oversee projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, aligning with client objectives. The PM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans in the company's internal project management tool, detailing timelines, milestones, tasks, resource allocation, and dependencies, aligning with the deliverables and requirements specified in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Align project scope, goals, and milestones with both the internal team and the customer to ensure shared expectations.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new customer business lines, ensuring smooth integration with products or services by managing internal and external resources, including teams, tools, and documentation, throughout the onboarding process.
  • Assign team members to tasks, assess capability gaps, and allocate resources for project delivery.
  • Monitor project dashboards to track progress, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Create and maintain a document repository for the project.
  • Identify risks or roadblocks early and initiate mitigation actions promptly.
  • Conduct daily check-ins to ensure team alignment and address any questions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of project progress, including status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting accomplishments, risks, issues, and next steps.
  • Review and validate billable hours and deliverables to ensure accurate client invoicing and collaborate with the finance team to address any discrepancies.
  • Manage the efficient allocation of project hours and monitor expenses to stay within budget, ensuring accurate tracking of hours burndown.
  • Coordinate with the QA team to allocate resources and testing progress and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor and mitigate risks related to quality, facilitating clear communication between the development, QA, and client teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Conduct post-mortem reviews to identify successes and areas for improvement upon project completion, incorporating lessons learned into future project management processes.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in project management. Prior experience as a Project Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master in Application Development projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading projects with Agile, Kanban, or similar frameworks to ensure flexibility and responsiveness in project execution.
  • Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with proficiency in using project management software (knowledge of Forecast App is a plus).
