Competitive Unit Cost Advisor

As the Competitive Unit Cost Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive analysis of unit cost competitive trends and identifying opportunities to reduce costs. You will also provide guidance and support to the organization to ensure cost-effective sourcing decisions are made.The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in a financial analysis role. Additionally, you should have experience in data analysis, cost accounting, and financial modeling. You should have a keen eye for detail, be an excellent communicator, and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Responsibilities: -Analyze unit cost competitive trends and identify opportunities to reduce costs -Provide guidance and support to the organization to ensure cost-effective sourcing decisions are made -Create financial models in order to assess cost savings -Prepare reports and presentations related to cost savings and competitive trends -Monitor industry trends and changes in order to keep the organization up to date -Work with stakeholders to develop and implement cost savings initiatives -Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders -Provide data analysis and cost accounting support -Perform other related tasks as assigned Cigna is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
